Senior Ambassadors

Candidate Requirements:
  1. Must be at least 16 years old, but no older than 22 years as of July 1, 2008.
  2. Must be a Legal Resident.
  3. Candidate may never have been married.
  4. Candidate may not be pregnant, nor have or had any children.
  5. Candidate agrees that if selected as an Ambassador, that she will not marry nor get pregnant during her reign.
  6. Never represented another city or organization in the capacity of an Ambassador within the last 6 years.
  7. Must be available for all scheduled Whiz Bang activities if selected as an Ambassador.
  8. Must submit a recent photo of self, copy of birth certificate and completed application form.
  9. Since January 1, 2008 must:
    • Reside in Independent School District # 281, or
    • Applicant or Parent/Guardian is currently working for a business in the City of Robbinsdale.
  10. The Candidate agrees to participate in all Ambassador Candidate Program activities until the completion of Robbinsdale Whiz Bang Days.
  11. Parents/Guardians MUST be available to assist with appearances throughout the year if selected as an Ambassador for Robbinsdale Whiz Bang Days.

Junior Ambassadors

Candidate Requirements:
  1. Must be entering Kindergarten, 1st or 2nd grade for the 2008-2009 school year.
  2. Candidate is a legal permanent resident.
  3. Never have represented a city or organization in the capacity of Junior Ambassador.
  4. Must submit a recent photo of self, copy of birth certificate, and completed application form.
  5. Since January 1, 2008 must:
    • Be attending a Robbinsdale District 281 School, or
    • Reside in the Robbinsdale School District 281 area, or
    • Parents/Guardians currently work for a business in the City of Robbinsdale.
  6. Must agree to participate in ALL scheduled events for the Junior Ambassador Candidate Program. A complete list of events will be given at the Orientation meeting.
  7. Must have Parents/Guardians available to assist with appearances throughout the year if selected as a Robbinsdale Whiz Bang Days Junior Ambassador.
  8. Must be available to attend all scheduled Whiz Bang activities through July 2009, if selected as an Ambassador.
